The first generative AI innovation enables text generation for copy, i.e., the primary text above or below your ad – depending on placement.

With the new Meta AI feature, you can create up to five different text variants based on the primary text. These variants are displayed when Meta expects that this could improve performance.

We tested a simple example for you:

Note: Text generation is currently (as of November 2024) not available in German. If you can already see the feature in Ads Manager, you will need to test the text generation in English.

Meta has now created five different text variants that differ in length and wording. You can now check all variants to display them. Alternatively, you can also select only specific variants (as in our example, 3 of 5).

In the lower section of the variants, you can provide feedback to the algorithm. Thanks to machine learning and manual user feedback, the artificial intelligence can improve over time.

If you weren't satisfied with the result and/or need more variations or inspiration, you can create new text variations using the "Generate more" button. This will only reassign the copy you didn't previously check, so it won't be overwritten. In our example, we received two new text suggestions:

In our opinion, the feature already works very well, even with the appropriate emojis. Meta naturally aims to denmark phone number data generate text that is as human-like as possible. As with all other generative text AI, we recommend this feature primarily for quickly gaining new inspiration. However, the final creative text creation with puns, slogans, and the like should still be left to human professionals.

AI Image Generation in the Meta Ads Manager
Once you've finally entered your text and selected suitable images, a new section appears, which is also highlighted in the side menu: AI Generation. By this, Meta refers to the generation of new backgrounds or the generation of complete images. Depending on which option is selected, new images are then created by the Meta AI feature via the "Generate Images" button.
